This event was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to don their finery and have an elegant dinner in the exclusive British Racing Drivers Club. The food and wine were impeccable, as was the service considering the number of guests. Paddy Hopkirk’s talk was interesting and amusing judging by the laughter that rippled round the room.
Jonathan Humbert conducted the auction and due to the quality of the prizes and the generosity of our supporters, raised over £10,000. Despite the October chill, guests seemed reluctant to leave, perhaps indicating that this is an event we could repeat in the future?
